The Stomatology Unit, established in 1967, serves as the only Oral Pathology diagnostic laboratory under the Malaysian Ministry of Health (MOH) and houses the largest collection of oral specimens in Malaysia. Initially located at the Institute of Medical Research on Jalan Pahang, the unit relocated to the National Institutes of Health in Setia Alam in November 2021.
