The main objective of the Nutrition Unit is to conduct cutting-edge research in nutritional biochemistry, nutrigenomics, and analytical food chemistry to address national health priorities. We focus on diet-related diseases, with an emphasis on non-communicable diseases, and provide expert training and consultation in advanced nutritional studies. We also offer consultative services to the Ministry of Health and other agencies on food acts, dietary guidelines, and nutritional data.
