Objectives of HRA Unit

The HRA unit plays a vital role in safeguarding public health by identifying, assessing, and managing health risks across various settings. Through rigorous analysis, effective communication, and evidence-based interventions, the unit actively contributes to health promotion, disease prevention, and the protection of communities from potential environmental hazards.

The objectives of HRA Unit include:

  1.  Advancing health risk assessment research: Conducting cutting-edge research to address the health disparities in risk exposure and outcomes related to environmental degradation, with a particular focus on the biomedical factors influencing environmental health.
  2. Assessing environmental Hazards: Investigating a range of physical, chemical, biological, and psychosocial hazards in the environment, and evaluating their short-term and long-term impacts on human health.
