Objectives of OHR Unit

At the Occupational Health Research (OHR) Unit, we envision a future where every individual thrives in a safe and healthy workplace. Our goal is to become a leading research institution, both nationally and internationally, driving meaningful changes in policies, practices, and attitudes to create environments that prioritize the well-being and productivity of workers.

The objectives of OHR Unit include:

  1. Advancing Knowledge: Conducting cutting-edge research to investigate the impact of workplace exposures on workers' physical and mental health, focusing on the biomedical aspects of occupational health.
  2. Assessing Occupational Hazards: Investigating physical, chemical, biological, and psychosocial hazards in the workplace and assessing their short-term and long-term effects on workers.
